To sign up for Fido, follow these steps:

1. Download the Fido App and register just once.
2. Confirm your details with a valid ID (NIN/Ghana Card) and address.
3. You must be above 18 years of age.
4. Complete the Fido Score assessment.
5. If you are a business, provide complete business information.
6. Please note: Minimum repayment period is 90 days, and maximum repayment period is 180 days.
7. We accept payments via MTN, AT, and Vodafone Mobile Money wallets.

To repay your Fido loan:

1. Log into the Fido App and select the "Make a Payment" button. Follow the prompts to complete your payment.
2. You can also dial *998# to initiate repayment.
3. For alternative options, such as using the MTN, AirtelTigo, or Vodafone menus, refer to the repayment process in the Fido App's "Help" section.

Protect yourself from fraud:

Fido personal credit and business loans are designed to support entrepreneurs and individuals with their day-to-day needs, not long-term debt obligations. The maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for the highest loan amount is 70%. This is calculated based on an interest rate of 0.299% per day. The processing fee per credit is 26 GHS, and there is a Deductible Commitment fee of 1.4%.

Representative Example:

A borrower who receives a credit line of 3,500 GHS for a 180-day term will be charged an interest rate of 0.299% per day, amounting to 1,203 GHS over 180 days. Additionally, there is a processing fee of 26 GHS, resulting in a total repayment of 4,729 GHS. A deductible 1.4% commitment fee is applied, deducting 49 GHS from the principal.

In summary: Borrowed amount (3,500 GHS) minus commitment fee (49 GHS) plus interest (1,203 GHS) and processing fee (26 GHS) equals total payment (4,729 GHS). The borrower has the flexibility to make early repayments at any point, which may reduce the aforementioned interest.
